Virgin Islands TANF
The Virgin Islands' Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program provides cash aid and services to eligible families that have a child(ren) in the home. If a family has little or no cash and needs housing, food, utilities, clothing or medical care, they may be eligible to receive short-term assistance to help pay for necessary expenses.

Virgin Islands' SNAP
The U.S. Virgin Island's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (aka SNAP or Food Stamps) helps eligible low-income households buy the food they need. It provides funds on a special debit card that can be used at most grocery stores and other retailers that sell food.

Virgin Islands Medicaid ("Medical Assistance Program")
VI Medicaid is a public health insurance program that provides free or low-cost health care services to certain low-income individuals, including eligible adults. The program is administered by the Virgin Islands, and funded jointly by the territory and the U.S. government.

Virgin Islands CHIP
The Virgin Islands' Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provides low-cost health insurance coverage to children in families that earn too much money to qualify for Medicaid. The program is administered by the Virgin Islands, and funded jointly by the territory and the U.S. government.
