Kansas TANF ("Successful Families Program")
The Successfuly Families Program is Kansas' Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. It provides cash aid and services to eligible families that have a child(ren) in the home. If a family has little or no cash and needs housing, food, utilities, clothing or medical care, theymay be eligible to receive short-term assistance to help pay for necessary expenses.
Kansas Medicaid ("KanCare")
KanCare is Kansas' Medicaid program. It is a public health insurance program that provides free or low-cost health care services to certain low-income individuals, including eligible children, caretakers, seniors, people with disabilities, and pregnant individuals. The program is administered by the state, and funded jointly by the state and the federal government.
Kansas CHIP ("KanCare")
Kansas' Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provides low-cost health insurance coverage to children in families that earn too much money to qualify for Medicaid. The program is administered by the state, and funded jointly by the state and the federal government.
